September 15, an exciting new exhibit at the Messler Gallery in Rockport, Maine. “Regeneration: Woodworkers Under 30” features works from 22 of the best young woodworkers. Although my Table With A Twist was not selected, I have to admit that the judges did do a very good job. Every piece in the exhibition is outstanding in design, material selection and execution. Congratulations to all whose work was accepted.

Very nice pieces Chris… good competetion. Did you like the Water Fall Bubinga table. I think I have seen an edge detail like that as well.

I thought the bubinga table was very elegant. I liked the visual lightness and how he highlighted the edge by running it up to the oak for a sharp contrast.
