Right now, I have a lot on my plate. I have builds to complete, projects I want to start, seminars to design, events for which to prepare, deliveries to organize, and the list continues.
Sometimes, my mind gets caught up in it all and it can be overwhelming. At these times, I try to find a simple task that requires little mental power, such as today’s task – cutting recesses for inlay. This keeps me moving forward.
This is the seventh slide from my PechaKucha presentation.
This reminds me of a quote from one of my old design professors:
“Sometimes you don’t know what to do, but you do it anyway.” – Jim Thorpe
Or you can take Dori’s advice; “Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming…”
