I am excited to announce that my Apex Cribbage Boards will soon be available for sale.
It started as a crazy “I wonder if I can…” idea about two years ago, and it feels like I have been working on this project for an eternity. There have been many moments of frustration, questions about whether or not it was worth the effort, questions about whether or not I had the knowledge and skills required to succeed, and moments where I wanted to either quit or settle despite knowing it wasn’t quite right.
But, I didn’t give up. I kept experimenting with different methods, different designs, and different tools. I am thrilled with what I hold in my hands now and I am proud of myself for always remembering that original vision when I was tempted by compromise.
It is a great feeling indeed to realize an ambitious goal.

Thanks, Jim. I had the idea, but figuring out how to make it efficiently was a real challenge! I have a whole boxful of test pieces used to figure out what worked and what didn’t.

Nice work, I love this design. I recently learned cribbage, making a board is on my list but I’m sure it’ll fall well short of this.
