Years ago, I bought this Veritas Scraper Holder. Soon after, I realized that I preferred to hold the scraper in my hands which, I felt, allowed increased sensitivity.
Since I never use it, I am giving it away! It’s in perfect condition but a little dusty from being in the shop. (I’m keeping the scraper that came with it.)
If you would like this Scraper Holder, please leave a comment below indicating your interest before midnight of Friday July 13th (yes, it will be somebody’s lucky day!). I will then draw a winner at random. Even if you don’t get this item, remember that there is still much more I want to give away.
And if you haven’t already, be sure to subscribe to my blog so you can be notified as soon as I post something new! And please tell your friends about my Overflow program.

Id like to grow my hat in for this. Ive recently started using a scraper.
I’m trying to get into woodworking via hand tools. I’ve accumulated a few things so far and this would be a great addition. I have the beginnings of arthritis in my hands and having something like this card scraper holder would be very helpful. Here’s hoping!
awesome! My hands are often sore so… count this “old lady” in.
I have only ever done any scraping with a piece of glass?! I liked the results, it would be great if I could win a quality tool like this. Heres holding thumbs.
I’ve heard of using broken glass as a scraper but have never used the technique.
I would like a chance at the Veritas scraper holder. Thank you!
I’m interested as well…had a time trying to figure out best way to use a scraper…maye this will give me a better chance…
If you’re able to sharpen a card scraper, you’re 90% of the way there.
That would be a fantastic prize…especially if you drew my name. Thanks
I would definitely be interested in the scraper holder! Love following your blog too.
Out of the hat came your name, Nate! Check your e-mail…
I hate sore thumbs too.

I drew Nate’s name as the lucky winner of Overflow, Part X. Thanks to all of you for reading and commenting!
